Annie Malone Children & Family Service Center, meets the comprehensive needs of abused, neglected, abandoned, homeless, disadvantaged children and their families in the St. Louis Metropolitan Community.
Our programs include Crisis & Emergency Placement Services that provides a safe 24 hour environment for children birth to 18 years of age with intervention measures to immediately alleviate crisis by providing emergency, shelter, food, clothing, educational needs, conflict resolution and emergency medical attention. Our Transitional and Independent Living Program provides youth between the ages of 16 and 21 housing and the necessary skills to successfully transition to becoming independent, productive adults through a series of personal training and life skills development. While offering students in grades K-12 with Individual Education Plans (IEP’s) an alternative education, our Emerson Academy Therapeutic School promotes successful learning behaviors and outcomes. The Parenting Education Classes provides an interactive instruction based environment to re-establish and promote healthy nurturing relationships between parents and children over a 10, 12, and 16 week session.
Covenant House Missouri is a non-profit organization that empowers homeless, runaway and at-risk youth to live independently and become contributing members of our community. With open doors and open hearts, CHMO builds a bridge from homelessness to opportunity by providing shelter and supportive services to children and youth who are homeless or at great risk. In the spirit of open intake, services will be offered to all youth who seek help, with a priority of concern and commitment to those for whom no other service is available.
ECH provides open and secure residential care; transitional and independent living programs; specialized residential and educational services for males with co-occurring mental retardation/developmental disabilities; special education services for students with behavioral difficulties and more.
Good Shepherd provides foster care and residential treatment, structured transitional housing and skills training for pregnant/parenting teens, crisis services for expectant parents, and a full menu of adoption services.
Great Circle provides a continuum of behavioral treatment services for children, teens and families statewide including residential treatment homes for kids, foster care, special education/day treatment, self-injury, autism residential and family services.
Marygrove offers services to children and families who have severe emotional and psychiatric problems. Services offered run the spectrum of crisis programs to transitional/independent living programs.

Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services (previously known as Children’s Foundation of Mid-America) provides Christ-centered care and support to children and families in need. The agency provides residential treatment, counseling, foster care case management, therapeutic mentoring, and intensive in-home care in St. Louis and several other locations in Missouri.
