Since 1965, the National Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse – St. Louis Area has been known as the region’s primary provider of substance abuse and violence prevention programs. NCADA strives to create a community free of alcohol, tobacco and other drug abuse, addiction, and related problems. We do this by providing in-school prevention education, community awareness, advocacy, individual assessments, initial counseling, treatment referrals, and family support. In 2013 we helped more than 120,000 people including 65,000 youth in Missouri’s Eastern Region of St. Louis City and County and St. Charles, Lincoln, Franklin, Warren and Jefferson Counties.
