Respite

CSC agencies offer respite care for families experiencing a crisis that are at risk of child abuse or neglect. Temporary emergency shelter is provided for youth of these families. In addition to providing a safe haven for children, respite care workers may also work with parents and families to help develop coping skills to deal with future stress.
